Compliance Statement

CRC recognizes current DoD/DoW guidance regarding the use of official resources for cultural awareness month observances (CHamoru culture does NOT have an observed holiday and/or month) and does not rely on official government sponsorship, duty time participation requirements, or government directed attendance for its activities. Participation in CRC programs is voluntary and open to interested community members in accordance with installation policies and approval requirements.

Summary

CHamoru Roots Collective (CRC) serves as a valuable and inclusive community resource for service members, families, civilians, and local residents at USAG Humphreys. Through cultural education, volunteer service, community outreach, and family focused programming, CRC helps strengthen community connections and enhance the quality of life for those living and serving within the garrison. 

Since its establishment, CRC has engaged hundreds of community members through cultural education, youth programming, community service, cultural performances, and family centered events.
